Elon Musk Says He Received Support To Purchase Tesla.

 

Following the publication of a contentious tweet, Elon Musk testified in court that he thought he had enough support to take Tesla private.

An electric car maker boss is on trial after an investor claimed a 2018 tweet cost him millions of dollars in a failed deal.

Musk claims the Saudi sovereign has met with his Wealth fund to indicate his willingness to support the deal.

He added that he raised the money by selling shares in the SpaceX Rocket Company.

Musk tweeted on August 7, 2018 that he “secured funding” to take Tesla private at $420 per share, confirming investor support. ‘ and has been accused of deceiving investors.

Am considering taking Tesla private at $420. Funding secured.
